梦游 In My Own Dreams: Chilli Competition @ Estes Park Winter Festival (17-1-2015)

Me & Sim being assigned by chef Jevan to attend a chilli competition with them, to help them promote their chilli for more votes!

We go by 9am, just in a community hall in Estes Park town.

Its Estes Park Winter Festival, it lasts for 2 days, 17 & 18 Jan 2015 Saturday & Sunday.

The hall is newly built.

A stage for some bands performance for the whole events!

and there is James and The Devil!!! We met during the New Year's eve in The Rock Inn!

and their songs are awesome! especially there is a violinist in the band!

There have some booths of beer and wine testing too! That's why this sign came out.

Actually this whole event entrance costs about $30 for 1 day, $65 for 2 days event entrance, included this glass for beer/ wine testing.

But we are the vendor, 1 of the participant of this event, so we pay ntg!!!

and get these 2 cute glasses home!

The whole event start at 12pm, we came way too early for setting up our booth.

Our 招牌 is this Ten Pepper Chilli, made by chefs.

Besides chilli, we prepared Mac & Cheese for better promotion too.

Bcoz kids cant reli eat spicy, the chefs are clever.

We The Y team have won the 1st place 2 times in a row in the last 2 years, so they are looking forward for the 3rd 1st place again this time, and they are so confident with it!

The chilli is hot than others vendors, and the Mac & Cheese is cheesy nice!!

me & Sim just go into the crowd and telling people to go and taste on our chilli, like a salesgirls, which I am so bad on it. But i Tried.

The votes for us that tak sempat to get into the voting box after it is being taken away earlier by the organiser, with the stuxxx reason one of the participant's chilli is out of stocks when we stil have 6 big pans waiting to be served!

We originally thought we will never wins with the pity few votes in the voting box, when there is more votes to come for us!

we dun even have the mood to go in front of the stage for the winner announcing.

But when the MC calling our 10 Pepper Chilli wins for the 1st prize, we still couldn't believe what we heard for the 1st few seconds! We shout out happily for Jevan & Jo to come over the stage after a few seconds!

Jevan's face and eyes are all red after we received the prize, Sim end up crying too!
